Daring to Hope, written by Katie Davis Majors with a forward by Ann Voskamp, published by Multnomah Publishers, is a follow up to Katie’s first book, Kisses From Katie.
I’ve followed Katie’s journey for quite a while, both through her first book and via her blog. I was quite excited to receive her second book and see what changes have happened as her girls have grown and as she’s married and had more children.
Written in the same style as her first book, this book details her continuing life in Uganda as mother to fourteen children and her work to spread the love of God and help those around her in any eay possible. The book shares both the joy and the heartbreak that goes along with running a ministry, all with a sense of hope for the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for information and stories of life in a modern mission field.
