7 Dangers Facing Your Church by Juan Sanchez

51n0ohhkbpl-_sx323_bo1204203200_Most people stay a away from reading, no less, preaching Revelation.  John Calvin was even quoted as saying, that He did not understand the book, while this quote was acquired second hand the point remains of the confusing nature of the book of Revelation.  Regardless, the book of Revelation is part of God infallible and errant Word, therefore it must be studied.  The book, 7 dangers facing your church by Juan Sanchez, is a wonderful examination of the main problems facing the seven church mentioned in the book of Revelation.

I enjoyed reading this book so much that I read it twice within a week, and will use it as an outline and aid in a sermon series on chapters two and three of Revelation.  The book is not too long at just under 150 pages, yet every page, even every paragraph packs a punch.  I can not undersell the impact that this book has made on my view of the failures of the local church and what a local church must look like.

Now this book is not a commentary on Revelation 2-3, nor is it just a practical theology book on the church.  Rather this book reads like a very practical sermon series on the perocipes in Revelation 2-3.  It truly can not undersell this book, for its relevance to the church, specifically the american church today.  It is perfect for a session and decaonite to study together, or as a individual in the church who seeks for their local congregation to conform to scripture.  It is truly a great book to read, and one that will not break the bank to purchase.  You will not be disappointed.
I received this work from The Good Book Company, for the purpose of an unbiased review.
